Parliament has written off taxes meant to be paid by selected investors to the tune of over shs500 billion. Police have vowed to apprehend all its officers who were behind the brutal arrest of the Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine. Leaders in the Busoga sub region are opposed to the President’s proposals in the Sugar Bill, 2019 that he returned to parliament for reconsideration. President Museveni returned the bill calling for zoning. President Museveni on Sunday, joined Christians at Lubya Hill in Rubaga Division, Kampala to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Orthodox Christianity in Uganda.
