The Uganda communications commission has called upon the general public to disregard the information of suspension of NBS Television license. According to the government regulatory body , the information circulating on Social Media is fake and non-existent. The hoax letter claims that the Commission will be suspending NBS TV license not later than today over what was claimed to fake breaking news stories. NBS Television is one of the leading television stations in the country well-known for broadcasting live, investigative and impactful content. Police has this morning raided and arrested Mukono municipality lawmaker Hon Betty Nambooze from her home. This arrest follows the summons made by CID alleging that the Nambooze is one of the suspects in the murder that claimed Arua municipality MP Hon. Ibrahim Abiriga.
