President Yoweri Museveni has reiterated a call to overhaul the education system and ensure that the universities stop graduating students in irrelevant disciplines. Museveni was speaking at the opening of the ongoing Commonwealth Youth Ministers’ meeting that brings together youth leaders from Commonwealth countries at Speke Resort Munyonyo last evening. The High court has dismissed an application that had sought to suspend the FUFA presidential elections slated for 5th/ August 2017. Justice Henrietta Wolayo has ordered that since grass root elections are in advanced stages, the balance of convenience favors the completion of the electoral cycle with holding presidential elections.
