Museveni gave contract extensions to five police directors at the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP). In the address made this evening at State House Nakasero, Museveni prohibited all people to people movement by everybody including private car owners, private bodabodas and private tuk tuks! Former security minister Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde Monday returned to Buganda Road Court for the mention of his case. The presidential hopeful is charged with illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions has been deferred over absence of the trial magistrate. Sarah Aceng, a granddaughter of former Ugandan president Milton Obote has passed on. Aceng a social worker in London, died of Covid-19, a disease spread by coronavirus. She served the elderly at the National Borough Council in London, U.K. Aceng becomes the second Ugandan in the U.K. to die of the disease with the first one being a pastor named Charles Paddy Kayiwa, also passed. Megemeso Namungalu, a former journalist and UPC supporter, reported the passing of Sarah Aceng on Sunday morning. The Uganda Police Force during the weekend arrested Pastor Augustine Iga aka Abizaayo of Revival Church Kawala, Rubaga Division in Kampala.
