What all started with humbling Mawali in pre-tournament friendly matches twice before the other defeat on day three by just 66 to 43. South Sudan government has deported three American journalists over visas issues, a spokesman for the foreign ministry said. Mawien Makol Ariik, the foreign affairs ministry spokesman, told Radio Tamazuj today that the foreign journalists were stopped last week at the Nadapal border in the newly created Kapoeta state. The president of the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), Jamal Malinzi, has been arrested by the country’s Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau. He was detained along with the TFF’s secretary general Selestine Mwesigwa. The duo were held overnight and face a second round of questioning on Thursday.
