The African Centre for Media Excellence condemns the move by the state to criminalise recent expression by Dr Stella Nyanzi of Makerere University. National Resistance Movement’s Rehema Wetongola has won the Kamuli Municipality Member of Parliament By-election with 8726 defeating FDC’s Salaamu Musumba with 5778. Though the electoral process was characterized of chaos and exchange of bitter words, its important to note that it has climaxed peacefully said the Electoral commission. However, referee Gil Manzano reported Neymar after the match for ironically clapping the fourth official for the decision as he left the field.
