The mystery surrounding the construction of the bridge to link Kayunga and Kamuli districts caused an uproar in Parliament on Wednesday, 13 November 2019 with MPs calling for an investigation by authorities. The last MTN Regional Marathon is set to happen in Masaka this Sunday 10th November 2019 ahead of the 16th edition of the annual MTN Kampala marathon. This follows two successful regional runs that were held in Soroti and Arua on the 3rd and 10th of this month. The Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, has launched a 150-kilometre walk to raise awareness of education of the girl-child. The four-day walk from Kampala, the capital to Kamuli District in Eastern Uganda, launched on Wednesday, 13 November 2019 will also raise funds to revamp St. Katherine S.S.
