Tullow oil has transferred it’s Managing Director Jimmy Mugerwa on allegations of abuse of office. This comes days after the Presidential dismissal of Tullow Oil’s managing director from a state house meeting after receiving credible intelligence information indicating that the Oil Executive was heavily involved in dubious activities including money laundering, fraud and abuse of office call it corruption. The Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) has ordered for the arrest of Benard Tumwesigire, the former executive director of the Departed Asian Property Custodian Board. This after finance minister revealed to the committee (COSASE) that he fully paid Tumwesigire the money he owed government upon his termination. Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has insisted that Members of Parliament will tour the construction site for the Specialized International Hospital at Lubowa, Entebbe, arguing that it is their constitutional mandate.
