The NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon Justine Kasule Lumumba on Friday officiated at the pass out ceremony of 822 students who had undergone a one week’s patriotism training at Nakalama Secondary School in Iganga District. The Secretary General commended the students for demonstrating high levels of discipline and persevering through the course till its successful completion. The Chief Executive Officer of the National Gaming and Lotteries Board, Edgar Agaba has been arrested. According police, Agaba was picked by CID officers on Wednesday afternoon over misappropriation of Shs950m. The UK government has over the weekend pledged further support to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria to help save millions of lives around the world. President Yoweri Museveni yesterday warmly received Sierra Leone President, Mr. Julius Maada Bio at State House, Entebbe. Senior presidential advisor Tamale Mirundi has condemned the Judiciary for continued mockery of Justice. Speaking while appearing on NBS television early this morning, Tamale said that it was unfair for slapping Pine Car Bond Proprietor Muhammad Ssebuufu with such a huge sentence.
