President Museveni has joined thousands of Ugandans mourning former Prime Minister Professor Apollo Nsibambi. Speaking in tweet made this evening, described Nsibambi as a great patriot and a great academician. “I have learnt of the untimely passing of the former Prime Minister, Prof Apolo Nsibambi,” Museveni said in a social media message. He added: “He was a true patriot and great academic. Parliament last week passed the Budget, with hopes of projected economic growth at 6.3 per cent and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at 7 per cent, surpassing earlier projections.
