Former presidential Candidate and Veteran Politician John Ssebana Kizito has this morning passed on. This was confirmed by the current Kampala City Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago. The former Democratic Party (DP) President was admitted to Nakasero Hospital’s intensive care unit in critical condition two week’s ago. His critical condition stemmed from a stroke which hit him damaging some right part of the body including the brain. Former presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye has vowed not to return before the Nakawa Magistrates court for extension of his bail. Parliament has directed the Ministry of Works and Transport to suspend the deadline for the mandatory motor vehicle inspection. This followed a statement to Parliament by the Minister of Works and Transport, Eng. Azuba Ntege, on the status of the motor vehicle inspection which is being carried out by SGS, an International firm. The much awaited Cancer Radiotherapy Machine is expected in the country at the start of August, one and half years since the breakdown of the only other machine. The Minister of State for Primary Health Care, Hon.
