Kampala City Council has this afternoon solidly resolved to withdraw the KCCA Amendment Bill that was tabled on the floor of parliament a few months back by the Kampala Minister Madam Beti Namisango Kamya Torwomwe. Rebecca Kadaga, has directed the House Committee on Legal and Parliamentary Affairs to move a Motion to amend the Penal Code Act to do away with the offence of being idle and disorderly. During this year’s State of the Nation Address early this month, President Yoweri Museveni, stopped the Police from arresting and charging youths for being idle and disorderly. Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has appointed his son, Mohammed bin Salman, as heir, in a major reshuffle announced early on Wednesday. A royal decree removed Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, a 57-year-old nephew of the king, as next-in-line to the throne and replaced him with Mohammed bin Salman, 31, who was previously the deputy crown prince.
