Bobi Wine’s MP dream still on
Today the Court of Appeal to deliver ruling on an election appeal challenging FDC’s Apollo Kantinti’s Parliamentary seat Kyaddondo East constituency.
Mid last year, High Court judge Isabirye Kaweesa, nullified Kantinti’s election over non-compliance with election rules during the February 18 parliamentary elections.
Though the petition was raised by the National Resistance Movement (NRM) candidate Sitenda Sebalu who was the former area MP and court ruled in his favour, there have been allegations that Robert Ssentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is eyeing the same position.
Kantinti got 9005 votes, beating Sebalu who got 8679 with just 326 votes difference.
