Police in Kigezi region and Rubanda District Development Association headed by its Chairperson one Eng. Kafeza Aloysius today distributed life jackets to residents of Lake Bunyonyi landing sites. Police headed by the Regional Police Commander Kigezi ACP Ecega Richard distributed 150 life jackets to the local communities there for their water safety. In April 2018 five people died at Kyanamukaka landing site when their boat capsized. The RPC mobilised the community to provide jackets to the residents and they compiled.
