Nine students have been confirmed to be dead after fire gutted a dormitory at St Bernard’s Mannya Secondary School, in Kifamba Sub County, Rakai district, last night. Panga wielding men  suspected to have attacked a factory in Kabembe, caused  harm to investors and robbed over 100 million Uganda Shillings have been arrested. The suspects were found armed with machetes and arrested as they planned to attack sand miners in Lwera. Security agencies arrested Hakim Kigozi and his colleague Darius Atwine. Police has arrested a 32 year old manin Nansana who allegedly defiled a minor, 7years, and rewarded her with 500 Ushs for her silence . Daniel Kasule, resident of Ganda Nansana was arrested and detained at Nansana Police Station after a case of aggravated defilement was opened by Teddy Nakimbugwe, mother of the victim and a fish trader at Jenina stage.
