Usuk County MP Peter Ogwang last week came face to face with death after a trailer lost control and rammed into the vehicle he was travelling in around Spear Motors in Nakawa. Ogwang, also parliamentary commissioner revealed the hair-raising experience on Friday on the floor of Parliament. Keija coffee shop at Namirembe Guest House in Rubaga division collapsed in Tuesday afternoon rain. According to Uganda Red Cross, two dead bodies have been retrieved and more efforts are still being done to see that everyone is safe. “after heavy rains this afternoon left the coffee shop down. May their souls rest in peace,” Red Cross said. Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango said the two victims were taking coffee when the wall became loose and spontaneously collapsed.
