The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has tasked the Ministry of Internal Affairs and his security counterpart to explain the mysterious killings of women in parts of Entebbe and Nansana municipality. So far 19 women have been gruesomely killed in the two suburbs of Wakiso district. The latest victim was identified as 28-year-old Jalia Nalule, whose body was recovered in Katabi town council yesterday. The Minister of Ethics and Integrity Hon. Simon Lokodo has said that government has secured shs. 2 Billion to finance the regulation of pornography consumption by Ugandans. Professional Standards Unit (PSU) in Aswa River region is investigating Police management in Kitgum district for granting an inmate unregulated access to government vehicles. The inquiry follows the wide circulation of a photograph of an inmate in Prisoners’ yellow uniform riding a Police Motorcycle registration number UP4232 in the heart of Kitgum town. Hundreds of National Resistance Movement-NRM party supporters in Kabale District have staged another demonstration in support of the proposed removal of the presidential age limit.
