FUFA Uganda Cup (Quarter final): Police 0-1 KCCA Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) football club outwitted Police 1-0 in the last quarter final of 43rd edition in the FUFA Uganda Cup held at the Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole on Sunday. Makerere University one of Best Universities in Africa is on tension over failure to provide students with Identity Cards. Due to this setback, the university is to refund Shillings 351Million out of the Shillings 526 million collected from students for their identity cards under the Computerized Education Management and Accounting System-CEMAS. A state adviser for Southern Liech, one of South Sudan’s newly created states, was killed in an ambush on two commercial vehicles along the Leer-Benitu road on Thursday, a local official said. The first elements of the Regional Protection Force of the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) have started to arrive in the country, the mission said Saturday. The deployment of the 4,000-strong force was authorized by the UN Security Council in its Resolution 2304 (2016). South Sudanese rebels loyal to former First Vice President Riek Machar announced that they captured Bazi and Kimba areas in Morobo County in Yei River State on Tuesday. Police has assured the public in greater Masaka region of total security following recent weeks of local terrorism, where Machette welding gangs attacked residents and made away with property.
