Singer Jose Chameleon
Celebrated Musician Joseph Mayanja aka Dr. Jose Chameleone has been dragged to the High court over failure refund 53 million shillings.
It is said that the money was supposed to be refunded to a South African based music promoter Zaina Muwonge aka Sezana promotions for concerts the he dodged performed after getting paid in 2015.
Through her lawyers, Sezana promotions claims in 2015, Chameleon received a 25 million shillings after entering into agreement with him to hold a 3 day concert dubbed Wale-Wale in towns of Pretoria, Cape town and Durban but it’s unfortunate that Chameleon instead switched off his phone after receiving the second payment of about 12.5 million shillings.
Its said that after Chameleon received the money, he claimed that his passports and those of his management and crew were stolen and run into hibernation till now.
Muwonge now seeks to recover her money and orders compelling Chameleon to pay her damages for breach of contract, damaged reputation and property including chairs and banners since She went a head to book for Hotels that will provide accommodation to Chameleon and his entire crew but to her shock the Kipepewo hit maker disappeared like a butterfly till now.
