Uganda police has been choked with a challenging situation when they attempted to arrest Kyadondo East Parliamentary race Candidate Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu with no clear reasons.
Earlier today, Police Baptized Bobi Wine with Tear gas whisked him to Kira Police Station for some hours and set him free after Besigye had vowed to join him at the station.
Bobi Wine was picked up by police at the Kasangati Playground and detained briefly at the Kasangati Police station before being moved to Kira Police.
At the time of arrest, Police first revealed that he was put preventive arrest and later after freeing him, the statement was changed to having engagements with him.
However According to Frank Mwesigwa, commandant Kampala Metropolitan Police, Bobi Wine was campaigning in an area that’s not allowed as per the electoral commission guidelines. The place Bobi Wine was using, Mwesigwa argues, is next to Kasangati hospital and Kasangati Magistrate court.
