The secretary general of the leading opposition party the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi has thrown his weight behind the mega fight against land grabbing and the proposed land acquisition bill (Article 26).
Speaking while appearing on NBS Frontline on Thursday night, Mafabi said that government is being mismanaged citing that Many of people who are advocating for land amendment have finished our land and now they are coming for what is left.
“This country is being mismanaged by a few individuals for their own purpose, including Baryomunsi. He was against the demolition of Shimoni but now he is the one supporting these demolitions.” Said Mafabi.
However minister Baryomunsi who was a co guest on the same show said that opposition leaders are preaching false information about land amendment bill to the public yet its aimed at improving service delivery especially infrastructure.
