Nabakooba and the ‘youth leaders’
Mityana district Member of Parliament Hon. Judith Nabakooba has this morning waged special controversial scenes during her age limit consultative meeting.
According to our well placed insider in Mityana revealed that the law maker held a closed door consultation that was attended by less than 5o youths.
Immediately after the fully financially facilitated meeting, the former police officer rushed on her social media claiming the district youth have endorsed the controversial bill.
“Mityana district member of parliament Youth leaders have allowed me to go ahead with the Constitutional amendment of article 102b.” she posted.
It should be noted that last Month, the legislator together with the State Minister of Tourism Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi were breathlessly attacked by the locals who accused them of peddling the ‘Magezi bill’ aimed at giving Museveni a life presidency offer.
Since then, the lawmaker has distanced herself from holding age limit talks till when she rose up with selected NRM party youth leaders.
