KCCA leaves Madagascar Opponents, CNaps Sport roaming with excuses

Azam Uganda Premier League reigning champions, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) football club progressed for the first round of the CAF Champions League.

KCCA overcame Madagascar champions CNaps Sports 1-0 during the return leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round to qualify on away goals rule.

Paul Mucureezi headed the only goal on the evening in the 64th minute.

KCC thus progressed after a two all aggregate score since the first leg away in Antananarivo at the Vontovorona stadium ended 2-1 in favour of the islanders.

Derrick Nsibambi was on mark for KCCA away in the first leg.

Ratolojanahary Fenosoa and Francis Rafaralahy scored for CNaps.

KCCA will face Ethiopia’s St George Football Club in the first round.

The match was also watched by Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre.
