Uganda Vs Cape Verde: Tickets Go On Market

Uganda’s men football team starts non-residential training tomorrow at StarTimes Stadium ahead of their penultimate 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Cranes host Cape Verde in Namboole next Saturday needing just a single point to book a ticket to Cameroon.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) in conjunction with Uganda Police Force have given details ahead of the game in regards to access of the stadium.

In a press briefing held at StarTimes stadium Lugogo on Thursday, it was confirmed that the match day tickets for the game slated for 17th November 2018 go on Market today evening at the various designated selling points.

Tickets for the match have released in a bid to avoid last-gasp crowding at the selling points.

Assistant Inspector General of Police Special Duties and in charge of sports Federations, Andrew Sorowen warned the public from buying fake tickets and promised maximum security.

‘As police and all our sister security agencies, we promise maximum security to the fans that will come to watch the game. We also want to warn the general to avoid buying fake tickets.” He said.
