One person has been confirmed dead and several others hospitalized after a trailer failed to brake and rammed into cars in traffic jam at Kira Road near Ntinda.
Kampala Metropolitan Traffic Police Commander Norman Musinga confirmed that one person had so far died and 16 others are admitted at Mulago Referral Hospital. The accident took place on Wednesday evening at Kiira road police junction.
Musinga said that the accident occurred when a driver reportedly lost control of a trailer and it rammed into a number of vehicles that had been stopped by traffic lights.
In a horror video captured by the CCTV cameras, a trailer is seen driving at a high speed before ramming into other cars in the traffic lights. More than 5 vehicles are reportedly involved in this accident.
