Don’t Be Tempted To Betray The Will Of Ugandans – Bobi Wine Warns Supreme Court Judges

The National Unity Platform party presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine has warned that he will consider seeking redress from the court of public opinion if the judges in the election petition case give a controversial ruling.

Addressing NUP party leaders from Mukono who attended a meeting at his home in Magere on Monday, an infuriated Bobi Wine relied on past precedents where courts have been giving very controversial rulings even when overwhelming evidence implicating the NRM party in malpractice is tabled.

“We have seen in the past cases of Dr. Kizza Besigye, Hon. Amama Mbabazi and all our comrades who have used court in the past,” Kyagulanyi said.

“In our case, the evidence is seen by the naked eye. We have over 90 million eyes watching these judges. Malpractice manifested all over the country and we have the evidence to table in the courts of law,” he added.

He however warned judges not to dare the public. “We will be implored to seek justice from the people if court goes astray,” he warned.
