Expressing gratitude, Rukh-Shana reflected on the invaluable experiences and relationships forged during her journey at the station.

She acknowledged that these years not only shaped her professional trajectory but also served as a profound personal exploration.

Rukh-Shana’s illustrious career in media began in 1999 as a voice-over talent and radio news anchor at Capital FM, followed by roles at KFM and a significant stint in Corporate Communications at MTN Uganda.

Her journey included a notable period as a weekend TV news anchor on NTV Uganda, where her pleasant demeanor, powerful voice, and storytelling delivery style captivated viewers.

Joining NBS Television in 2015 as a senior news anchor, Rukh-Shana made a lasting impact until her recent decision to bid farewell.
