‘Museveni Will Ask For Water’ As Besigye, Bobi Wine & Muntu Unveil Toxic Plan B

There’s a joint opposition press conference taking place at Plot , Katonga Road which houses Besigye’s office. In attendance are opposition parties who have come together to do joint politics together.

While addressing the joint opposition presser, former Leader of Opposition and Alliance for National Transformation strong lady Winnie Kiiza announced few of the plans that the opposition parties are going to start with.

According to Winnie Kiiza, the opposition will Thursday this week start with exposing the pot holes in the city and across the country. She has called upon Ugandans to plant banana, potatoes, yams and even do some fishing in the potholes to show to the visitors of NAM summit.

Winnie Kiiza says thy want to show to the visitors and Delegates who are in the country for the high level summits of NAM and G77+China that as they’re cruising on good roads, the other parts of the country and the city are full of potholes despite the country borrowing huge amounts of cash to improve roads but the money end in the hands of devil through corruption.

She decried the continued abduction of opposition supporters, she also says the economy is in dire state, commodity prices have gone high and Ugandans have been deprived off the right to property. Winnie Kiiza says the government continues to try civilians in military courts.

The ANT strong woman also says that the recent appointment of NRM cadres to the electoral commission draws to a fact of how Museveni is determined to hold onto Ugandans and maintain his grip to power.

She further says that after exposing the potholes on Thursday this week, the united forces of change will proceed to Iganga municipality on Monday 22rd January next week and later to Lira City on Tuesday 23rd January for joint prayers. The prayers in Iganga will take place at Iganga Municipal Primary school while the prayers in Lira will happen at Lira City Mayor’s gardens.

It remains an issue of time whether police and government will allow the opposition to carry on with their planned activities in the city and else where in the country. Bobi Wine yesterday urged Ugandans to use the NAM summit to expose the mess the country is in.

Amidst the press conference, Police and Army have heavily deployed along Katonga road and also around Besigye’s office which is hosting the presser.
