VIDEO: I Have To accept, Gen. Muhoozi is Better Than Me – Gen. Salim Saleh

The national coordinator of the Operation Wealth Creation Gen. Salim Saleh has finally let the cat out of the box regarding his doubts on Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s military capabilities.

This comment was made recently on event where different army officers including Muhoozi were decorated after a promotion in the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) by the Commander in Chief Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Muhoozi who is now a Four Star Genral was pipped by, Gen Salim Saleh and his wife Charlotte Muhoozi at the Bombo Military Barracks.

Gen. Saleh said he is happy that his friend, Gen. Muhoozi is now on the same rank as him because he believes in his capabilities and expertise.

He added that at a tender age, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has already outshined him and other army officers by doing what they had initially failed to do, as Stated in VIDEO here.

“ Gen. MK has served the forces for more than 20 years and I’m very proud him and more specifically in areas where you defeated me. Ask Kidega and Kyangungu, Mzeei almost took us to jail for mis deploying the forces in Gulu. For me I’m a guerrilla commander who has fought all those small war fares, attacks and ambushes etc but in 1996, the Commander in Chief told me that he wants to form a heliborne unit. I told him my head is not catching up, so he explained further that it means people who can go ahead of the enemy and attack. 115 soldiers were trained in Gulu, I deployed them while he was in Kampala and there was trouble. That’s why in one of his high command documents, he said he will never forgive me. After that MK came in and conceptualized the Special Forces Command which all of you know. For us in our generation, we could not execute this, that why I give MK credit, he defeated me.” Saleh said.

This comment that never grows old is a sweet reminder for other officers that have consistently undermined the first son.

Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has for a while positioned himself as a standby generator, warming up to take over leadership of Uganda from his father Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

Muhoozi has been endorsed by hundreds of senior government and military officers, something that may make one to believe that his move is a sure win or unstoppable.

During his recent visit to Kabale, The MK project leadership is on record highlighting issues of corruption, unemployment, infrastructure development, regional integration and women & youth empowerment as some of the key things he would handle if given chance to take on State House.
