The Uganda Police force has refuted the rumors circulating in different Media Houses indicating that over 4000 police officers are yet to face eviction. According to the press release dated 10th/January, Police insists that no police officer is meant to face eviction except only a small number that is supposed to be relocated to from Naguru to Kikandwa Police Barracks near Kakiri in Wakiso. Police further noted that this was not done in Bad faith since transfers and relocating police officers to better and well facilitated facilities has been ongoing since 2010. The long anticipated defiance campaign has been postponed over unavoidable circumstances. The church of Uganda has revealed a tentative program for the burial of the late archbishop of church of Uganda Mpalanyo Nkoyoyo who passed on this morning at Kampala hospital. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has signed the controversial age limit bill into law. According the director of communication Parliament of Uganda Chris Obore revealed that the bill was signed on 27th December 2017.
