Gen. Muntu the great, doesn’t sneak to State house like others – Mirundi

Gen. mugisha Muntu

Famous former State House press secretary Tamale Mirundi has confessed love for the opposition Form for Democratic Change (FDC) party president Gen. Mugisha Muntu.

Speaking while appearing on NBS Television on Tuesday Morning, Tamale added that Muntu is a man of his word and not treacherous like majority opposition leaders.

“Mugisha Muntu is one person I respect. I’ve never received information that he goes to state house in the night.” Said Tamale.

He also credited him for respect of government institutions like the Uganda People’s defense Forces (UPDF) he once commanded.

“I believe in what he says, he’s a respected man. Have you ever seen him criticize the army he commanded?” excitingly tamale asked.

Muntu rhymes on the beat

It should be noted that it’s not only Tamale Mirundi who has rose up from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) praise Gen. Muntu for his modest character.

Early this year, the NRM party General Secrtary Hon. Justine Kasule Lumumba described Gen. Muntu as a good leader in a wrong party and associating with wrong people citing that he needs to join the visionary National Resistance Movement party for the development of the country.

The 58 year old Mugisha Muntu who has been the FDC president since 2012 is running for the second term of office and is facing five more FDC members for the FDC Leadership role, Moses Lukubira, Dan Matsiko and Byamugisha Moses, Hon Mubarak Munyagwa and Patrick Amuriat Oboi.
