The ministry of health has refuted messages making rounds on social media of a suspected case of Ebola in Mubende district.
Speaking to the media Sarah Opendi, the State Minister for Health for General Duties said the public should disregard this information.
She only said that what is in Uganda is only Crimean Congo hemorrhagic fever which is also being slowly eliminated out.
Opendi adds that health workers in the western border districts have been put on high alert to monitor and screen all people coming from DRC after the outbreak was reported in the northwest Equateur Province.
