Continue Praying for Bobi Wine, it’s terrible – Mwiru

Jinja East Member of Parliament Hon. Paul Mwiru has called upon Ugandans to tirelessly pray for Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.

Speaking to our Insider at Gulu magistrate’s court earlier today, Mwiru said that the conditions in prison are so alarming.

He says since the time of their arrest, the lawmaker says torture has been part of their menu.

Mwiru also notes that for the sake of the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, it’s so abysmal citing that more prayers are needed because he was properly beaten.

Following this outcry, through the lawyers, they were able to plead with the court that in turn directed that prisons takes all the detainees to hospital of their choice or proper medical attention.

Mwiru is among the four MPs arrested on Monday over chaos that ensued on the last day of the campaigns for Arua Municipality that left at least one person dead.

The other MP’s in custody are Francis Zaake, Gerald Karuhanga and Kyagulanyi Robert. According to police the MP’s had guns.
