Bobi wine Morns Rwenzururu Queen Mother

The passing on of Mrs. Christine Biira Mukirania, mother of His Majesty the Omusinga of Rwenzururu Charles Wesley Mumbere the King of Rwenzururu and State Minister for Agriculture, Christopher Kibanzanga has brought together distinguished officials.

Among these is the celebrated Kyadondo East lawmaker Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine.

In his condolence message, Bobi wine stated that, “On this day when we are still celebrating with the people of Bunyoro Kingdom as they commemorate Omukama’s 25th anniversary, it is sad to learn of the passing of a distinguished elder, Mrs. Christine Biira Mukirania, mother of His Majesty the Omusinga of Rwenzururu Charles Wesley Mumbere. I condole with the Omusinga and the people of Rwenzururu Kingdom, and pray that God rests her soul in eternal peace.”

Bobi wine added that her death comes more than two years since the Omusinga was stopped from entering his kingdom after the state massacred more than 150 citizens from there.

“We know that these trials and tribulations will soon pass, God being our help.”
