Singer Big Trill Dominates MTN Hip Hop Awards 2020

Former Baboon Forest Entertainment member Big Trill, on Friday night dominated the 4th edition of the MTN Hip Hop Awards 2020.

The awards took place at the MTN warehouse in Industrial Area.

He walked away with the Song of the Year “Parte After Parte” and Male Rapper of the Year.

Northern Rapper of the Year Presented by UBL (Uganda Breweries Limited)—Winner – Toobi Smallz.

Eastern Rapper of the Year Presented by UBL—Winner – Leumas Owabajaja.

The award was picked by Byg Ben.  

Central Rapper of the Year Presented by Pepsi Uganda (Pepsi Uganda) Winner – Feffe Bussi.

Western Rapper of the Year Presented by Pepsi Uganda Winner – Truth 256. The award was picked up by rapper Timothy CODE.

Diaspora Rapper of the Year Winner – GNL Zamba. The award was picked by rapper Big Tril.  

Hip-Hop Media Personality of the Year – Jokwiz Klean of NXT Radio.

Life Time Achievement Award went to- Lyrical G.

Sweet 16 (Verse of the Year) Winner – Pyramid MC.

Hip-Hop Caller tune of the year Presented by MTN Uganda for “Guma Bakunyige” by Recho Rey.

Mixtape of the Year Presented by MTN Uganda for “Black Mail: 7 Day Delivery” by Blixxack.

(Numbers) Video of the Year Presented by Pearl of Africa Winner – “Level Up” by Kampala Boy.

Rookie of the Year Presented by Hennessy (Black Hawk Uganda) Winner – St. Maxi Mayne.

Hip-Hop of the Year Presented by Hennessy (Black Hawk Uganda) Winner –Deejay Crim.

Inspirational Song of the Year Presented by NBS Television Winner – “Amen” by The Mith.

Collaboration of the Year Presented by NBS Television Winner – “UG’s most wanted” by Byg Ben and Tucker.

Producer of the Year Presented by Talent Africa Group Winner – Samurae.

Song of the Year Presented by Talent Africa Group Winner – “Parte After Parte” by Big Tril.

Male Rapper of the Year Presented by MTN Uganda. Winner – BigTril.

Female Rapper of the Year Presented by MTN Uganda. Winner – Recho Rey.
