The Marketing and Advertising fraternity is still mourning one of its members Yosia Matara Lukwago, 42.
Yosia who was an employee of Metropolitan Republic breathe his last Monday morning in Nairobi, Kenya after a short illness.
His body was repatriated to Uganda on Thursday and laid to rest at his ancestral home in Nansana Municipality, Wakiso district on Friday 12th January 2024.
Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Lukwago Kirabo the deceased’s father described his son as a disciplined and outgoing person who unconditionally treasured people and around.
He said its unfortunate at his age, he is the one burying his son who would has been his greatest inspiration.
The Metropolitan Republic Communications Manager Peter Mwayi described the late as that a real gem, who played his duties with outmost passion.
He added that the Company has lost hardworking employee with a big heart.
Yosia passed on at the time when he had just given life to Christ.
“Up to now, we can’t believe that Yosia is gone. He was a warm soul, who cheered us up straight from the gateman to the top bosses. We have lost a friend, a brother and a very loving teammate.” Mwayi told this theinsider.ug.
