Kampala Metropolitan Police Apprehends Third Suspect in Aggravated Robbery Case
Central Police Station Kampala has successfully apprehended another suspect in connection to the aggravated robbery incident involving Mr. Mugisha Tomson, aged 40, which was captured on CCTV.
Mugisa Derrick, also known as Musota, was arrested today around Nakivubo Channel in the city center. It is alleged that Mugisa is the individual who delivered the kick that incapacitated Mr. Tomson and continued to assault him until he was unconscious. Mugisa has confessed to both the act of kicking and the robbery.
Mugisa Derrick joins two other suspects already in custody: Senyonjo Peter, also known as Kakima, and Nuur Lweyama, also known as Mu TZ (Tanzania). The trio has admitted to acting under the command of another individual, for whom efforts are intensifying to bring to justice.
The suspects will be processed and presented in court as soon as investigations are complete.
