As the country continues to mourn the fallen Tycoon Ivan Ssemwanga who was also the ex-husband to city socialist Zari Hassan, Famous analyst Tamale Mirundi shocked the country when he revealed that he never knew him.
“I don’t know Ivan Semwanga because I was raised never to take free things. But as a human being, when one dies I feel affected.” Tamale said.
He added that as a man who reads the news, he used to read some articles about him splashing money to people but he never took interest to establish and understand who he was simply because he never knew the source of the money Ivan could toss out.
Mirundi insisted that Ivan was not a rich man simply because he has nothing to show.
“What does that man have, we have seen people with warehouses, car bonds, and multiple businesses in and outside the country but Ssemwanga is not among the list of even the 20 richest Ugandans so why be excited about him? Tamale asked.
Ivan Ssemwanga who died of stroke in South Africa last week will be laid to rest on Tuesday in Kayunga.
