Opposition’s D. Kiiza Besigye has praised residents of Buwemba village in Budondo Sub-county Jinja district for humiliating there are lawmaker.
Member of Parliament, Mr Nelson Lufafa become humiliated when his voters blocked from attending a funeral in is constituency.
Drama started when the master of the ceremony invited him to address mourners a statement that forced a group of rowdy residents overwhelmingly shun him and call for his departure from the burial.
The luxurious lawmaker is accused of betraying residents when he supported the December 20, 2017 scrapping of the age limit for presidential candidates from the Constitution.
According to Besigye, notes that such type of lawmakers who never represent the voices of their people don’t deserve to associate with the community since they are enemies of democracy and development in the country because all they do is to serve the benefits of President Museveni.
This is the third time Mr Lufafa is being embarrassed and chased from public functions with the previous being on Christmas day.
Lufafa is one of the 317 Member of Parliament that voted yes backing the removal of age limit from the constitution and lifting the office tenure of lawmakers from 5 -7 years.
