Ofwono Opondo
The government Spokesperson Mr Ofwono Opondo has said that Mityana Municipality Member of Parliament Francis Zaake wanted to escape from the country.
Ofwono adds that Zaake is a suspect on the run who disappeared from Uganda Police custody in Arua and should be arrested at the earliest time possible.
Zaake was this afternoon supposed to fly to India for more medication following the injuries sustained during the 13th August Arua Mayhem.
He was blocked at the Entebbe International Airport on grounds that they needed clearance from the CID director Grace Akullo.
