The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs Maj Gen Kahinda Otafiire has revealed his biggest reason why he is rallying Ugandans not to support fastest raising politician Hon. Kyagulanyi Robert Ssentamu alias Bobi wine.
According to Kahinda, its iron to handover the State to someone of Bobi Wine’s Character, Insisting that President Museveni is still in power because he wants African unity to be achieved first.
He adds that the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament will sell Uganda to America and Britain if he becomes president thereby accusing Bobi Wine for trying to bring back colonialism.
Otafiire cited the August 2018 incident in which the singing MP allegedly reported President Museveni to US and UK.
“You have a quarrel with Museveni and run to United States to report; you get a misunderstanding with Museveni you go to United Kingdom to report him. Are you a president for Americans or British?” Otafiire said while addressing Mbarara residents.
He said after using Europeans to get power from Museveni, Bobi Wine will use Americans and the British to lead Ugandans.
It should be noted that Bobi Wine’s first declaration of his intentions to contest for the country’s topmost job was made in Washington while appearing on an international News Channel.
This statement however sparked mixed reactions as some people wondered why Bobi Wine waited when he is out of the country to declare his ambitions as if he will be contesting to lead America.
