Police in Nalumunye, Wakiso district have arrested two suspects who have been behind the vandalization of wire mashes on Entebbe Express Highway. The duo were found in possession of about 50kg ( chain link) and these include Sunday Peter and Lugemwa Ismai. They are currently detained at Nalumuye Police. The holding charge is theft, RSA will prefer the appropriate charge when the file is forwarded to their office for perusal and legal advice. According to police, they have increased vigilance along Entebbe Express Highway thereby urging members of the public tirelessly to inform them on any mischief along that highway.
Mixed reactions following the killing of one Ronald Ssebulime, man who was allegedly railing ICT Minister Aidah Nantaba have continued to occur. Residents of Nagojje village in Mukono district have revealed that the deceased was unarmed, had surrendered and was handcuffed when he was shot dead. Speaking while handing over power to DP President General Norbert Mao, UPC’s Hon. Following the illness news that rocked different media Houses over the Speakers health condition, the family has registered great improvement. According to a close relative, Rebecca Kadaga who was airlifted to Nairobi in critical condition during the weekend is now feeling better, and already out of danger. “Her health is nolonger alarming and fully improving, she can now talk and eat, hopefully the end of this week, she will be far better.” The relative told our reporter. The State Minister for ICT Hon. Aidah Nantaba has survived an assassination as attackers travelling on a motorcycle opened fire on the her car prompting his guards to return fire. The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has been airlifted to Nairobi for further treatment following the urgent admission at Nakasero Hospital Intensive Care Unit hours after her return from a foreign trip.
