The retired Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo has died today morning of cancer of the esophagus. He has died at the age of 91 years from Kampala Hospital at 11am. Archbishop Nkoyoyo served as archbishop between 1995 and 2004 after Yona Okoth. He was later replaced by archbishop, Luke Orombi. Very many people remember him as a man of God who spearheaded the improvement of the Namugongo Anglican shrine.
